When to Use Video

Video is a great tool to help engage & create attention, but there is a time and a place for it.

Where to Display Video

There are plenty of locations you may have digital signage running in your facility, but they aren't all great candidates for video content. Here is a list of what we think are ideal locations for video:

  • Break room
  • Waiting Area
  • Lobby
  • Trade Shows
  • Cafeteria
  • Building Exterior

Types of Video Content

There is no shortage of video content floating around these days. Here are the types we think make the most sense for digital signage:

  • News: probably the most common piece of “video content” that gets shared on typical digital signage systems.
  • Menu board: A section of the screen might be dedicated to slow-moving salad getting tossed that helps “entice” the viewer.
  • Generate attention: Brand reinforcement via video can help you tell your story to your audience.
